Thumbs up No ignition on Greddy Ultimate startup

Hi Guys,

my tuner has a problem with starting the car after installing the Greddy Ultimate (latest software, latest hardware version). He get's no ignition at all, fuel is flowing but it's not firing.

When he disconnects the ULT and goes back to the Honda ECU everything works fine.

On the ULT he has just entered all the car parameters but no map or something else, basically starting with a base map.

Does somebody know that there's an error in the Greddy manual where the wiring from the ULT to the ignition system is wrong?

Does somebody have a clue which cables (colors) to use there?

Any help would be appreciated much, as you know after all the trouble (crashing the original car, rebuilding, missing parts, stolen brakes and rims) I finally want to get it going after 9 months.

Thanks in advance,

Andreas

We've now checked a base map provided by one veritable member from S2Ki and still no ignition at all, not even misfiring, as soon as we detach the Greddy ULT from it and leave the ECU run all alone it fires up perfectly.

I guess the only possible solution then can be that the harness is connected wrongly, right?

Or does anybody else has an idea?

Can the ULT be defect?

Looking desperately for help here,

Andreas

why don't you check the harness wire by wire and make sure its going to the right portion of the ecu.. I'd hate to send it to greddy and then just find out it was your harness all along.. good luck bro

Does anybody for chance have an overview of the connections coming from the ECU?

I only have the following wiring diagram, which is not showing all the connectors:

ECU Pinout Diagram

I think it can only be harness for the ignition (that's at least what I do hope, maybe after fixing one problem we'll find the next one).

Thanks for your help so far guys,

Andreas

Hi Andreas - this is the diagram I emailed you while we were on the phone. Just pasting it here so it is all in one location.

William,

thanks again for the great help that you provided me with, let's cross fingers that we'll find the wiring error tomorrow.
