^^^ what would be cool is to adapt an external reservoir with cooler. I think like what KW runs for their blower. Something tells me this one could use it too even though it spins at half the speed. I'd look into it if I had an SL

I believe there was a cooling system available for the old SN blowers (Google'd). The tech guy at Paxton said that they do not make or know of a cooling system for the SL blowers.

S/C pulled from car today, shipping back to Paxton. Hopefully they will rebuild it under warranty without any hassle.

sounds suspect to me. I have been doing reading a lot the past couple of weeks and had decided on the SOS kit over KW or turbo. The more I read, the more I think turbo is going to be the best way for me to go.

Since we're talking about SC noises mine is noticeable louder and annoying when I get off the throttle completely and decelerating (it's a NOVI 1000). Is that normal? Back on the throttle and at idle it's relatively quiet.

Idle and acceleration sounds like a normal SC whine, off throttle and deceleration mostly 3-5k sounds like a louder whine with a whistling component.

^^^ That sounds pretty normal. I have found the sc to be rather dynamic in tone. At times it will be louder or quieter, tone changes a bit depending on what rpm you are in. Mine will make a distinctly different noise, almost a whistling howl when decelerating from 4k- 2k.
