NSX_BOB's sc guess the WHP thread...
Yeah the f22 seems really happy to rev to 9k. I hit it often on my set up. I haven't done the math but from what I am hearing 8500rpm is the equivalent of 9k on the f20 as far as piston speed. The f22 valvetrain is actually better suited to rev then the f20 with better valve keepers/retaining clips. 500rpm will get you .5 psi more. So revving ot 9k will get you 1psi and on the f22 is a nice difference. You will likely see 15whp min. Im also running meth/water injection though so my combustion temps are lower and could help with the over rev. To be safe you may just want to set the rev to 8500, but after you tune I would take a pull up to 9k and then one at 8.5 for sake of comparison and post it for us. But revving to 9k isn't going to cause the motor to lose a rod or bearing etc. I see it as just added heat/strain over time of continuous operating there and that could cause the life of the motor to be shortened, but there doesn't seem to be any data or proof of this either, its all speculative.

I do have a few good things to say about church automotive and My kit should be done tomorrow. I will write a full review on them tomorrow or the next day that outlines my whole experience and will help people in the future decide weather or not Church automotive is the shop for them.
