S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

Which OEM coils are the best?

Here you go....
http://www.rhdjapan.com/okada-projec...c-accord-52830

What this website states as I found previously is that the application is practically universal. I would run the k24 coils and give it a try. Note: Im not guranteeing that a k24 coil pack will produce the same results as an okada coil pack. But the evidence kinda points to the contrary
Heres a pic for you. These are off my f20c.

Sure maybe you can plug AP2 coils into an AP1 and get spark but that doesn't mean they're as good as or better does it??
So, which coils are best for use with forced induction? I just had my stock coils fail on me. They are out of a MY01 AP1 with 110,000 miles. They were working perfectly until a week ago. I swapped them out with 04-06 K20 RSX coils and the car came back to life. I'm currently making 546 whp @ 16 psi. I need to replace my coils and am not sure which ones to get. Should I also get a ignition amplifier of some sort as well? (AEM twin fire, etc)

kenne bell boost a spark will solve your problems, as for the coils I would just get another set of ap1s and run the kenne bell

Coil #3 failed on me, had it replaced with used OEM one......after reading this thread and checking out Kenny Bell Boost-A-Spark website, I have a few questions hopefully you/someone can help me understand what's going on:
1.) Why do the coils fail ?
2.) Why does the KB Boost-A-Spark solve ?
3.) Will it keep the coils from failing in the future ?
4.) Is the HP increase claim by KB legit or hype ?

Thanks !

I've done 2 boost builds my first S2000 made 499whp and my current one is making 591whp and I have had a few coils go bad on me in each build but it seemed to be more related to the mileage than anything else. Ive used ap1 coils and the first gen ap2 coils and they both seemed to work the same for me. I keep 2 to 3 extra coils just in case.

Thanks. My 01 only had 68K miles on it....and they just replaced with another used on....
You replacing with used or new coils ?
I've never changed a coil => difficulty scale from 1-10 (for non-mechanic) ? Any special tools required ?
Thanks !
