Close to 500rwhp......

I was racing at Moroso. F'up and had a lot of wheel hopp on the launch. It was totally my fault....ugh I have a video, but i havent posted it yet.....

OGPackin got the Ironman last week. He is at ~17psi and what he told me is that he loved the clutch. PM him if you need more feedback

its their heavy duty pressure plate you want to stay away from. not the clutch itself.

we use competition clutch products for the street, and the "iron man" held up the longest on our 525rwhp street car on pump gas. It took a beating for almost a year. and when i say beating, i mean BEATING.

its a good clutch.

 

Would it be a bad idea to go with a ACT Race clutch and OEM disc?

The "race clutch" isn't the clutch disc you are referring to...that is the heavy duty pressure plate. And that's what Ya was talking about. I have also stated that it's caused some leakages/failures as well on the slave cylinders of some S2000's. I've never taken apart the S2000 engine with a ACT HDPP on it but I am sure inlinePRO has and if they've been finding the thrust washers being worn down I wouldn't be surprised.
