Default Oil Choice

I was running mobile 1 only to find out that you (collectively) have really been spreading the hate, that and I think its causing issues with my engine.

If you have a link to a page with good oil changes for FI that would be greatly appreciated, I have been looking but cant find much. If not what are good oil choices for me, I have already heard Red line, what else? At this point I just want to know what works well with our cars and to look over my options.

I know a lot of drag racing guys around here like to run Valvaline VR1 which is a racing oil. The only thing that I dont like about racing oils like that are the lack of detergents compared to a street oil, however the added zinc would be nice. This isnt a big deal if you change your oil a lot I just dont know how often you would have to change your oil if you were running a racing oil.

I just switched to Shell Rotella T6 synthetic 5W-40. It seems to be running great so far and haven't gone through any oil.

I run amsoil. I was running mobile one but I jumped on the amsoil bandwagon. No real data. Just did it. 10w40

As I said previously I run Motul (mainly because I can get it for cheaply and easily). But I've also heard good things about Brad Penn and Amsoil. I doubt you could go wrong with either three.
