There is nothing really "wrong" with it for the most part... as long as you know what you are getting. Mobil 1 seems to advertise it as a full synthetic, when it's actually more of a synthetic blend than anything.

Personally I just prefer a Group V oil... especially when I can get it for around the same price. No brainer for me.

I'm running Redline but looking to switch to something cheaper now that I'm SC'd instead of turbo'd... Greddy (the company) seems not to like Royal Purple, so that's out.

Stock, the car runs just fine on regular (non synthetic) oil. The SC doesn't have specific oil requirements, thus my assumption is that any decent synthetic will be fine for my needs. I might switch to Castrol or Valvoline to save $$. Anyone disagree?

Shell Rotella 15w40 here. Consume less oil than when my engine was bone stock running synthetic 10w30.

I'm going to try Royal Purple 10w40 for now and see how she likes it. Not trying to be an IP dick rider but they say to use the 10w40 with their built block so I figured I would put that in it.

I used to use Rotella T before they changed their formula. They lowered their zinc content so I've switched to Amsoil. High zinc content which is why many of the guys here are using Rotella.

Again, thanks for all the responses. I found a local distributor of Brad Penn so I am going to go check that out. Otherwise I can get Amsoil at a discount so it will depend on price at this point.
