Default more nitrous questions

hi,

does anyone know of any good places to tap fuel for nitrous?

i was looking at the DIY fuel pressure gauge thread and was wondering if that would be a good place to plumb a fuel line. Here's a picture of the banjo bolt below.<--OOOPS MY BAD uhhh er... forget the picture

thanks,
bigegg

That's a pic of the fuel hose from the rail to the Comptech FMU. Unless you are running a Comptech SC, you won't have that banjo bolt/fitting. The stock fuel pressure regulator bolts there.

You'll most likey have to "T" into the fuel feed hose to the fuel rail. The easiest acces point will be under the car, on the inside of the frame rail.

No Honda uses a schrader valve service port. It's all banjo bolts and nuts, and on the newer stuff plastic push lock hoses.

my advice. run a seperate fuel system and enrichment tank in the front of the car. DO NOT. expect the stock fuel system to handle the extra volume load you will now be putting on it. later. dave

i'm only planning on squeezing a 35 shot, the stock fuel pump should be able to handle that, right? oh yeah and can anyone suggest a good nitrous window switch that would work well with the s2k and how difficult is it to hook up a window switch in our cars?

thx,
bigegg

this will help ya a bit.

www.dynotunenitrous.com

and dude, a 35 shot? whats the point. this motor will handle 25-40 hp gain per cylinder if setup correctly. if you just ran 20 hp gain per cylinder your have an 80 shot. id say be safe (it seems this is what you want) and run a 75hp shot.
no way will you be able to do a 35, youll be addicted in a week. if you want any help or advice. i will help ya. no big. there are many ways of doing this, but there is only one safe way.
one word of advice, if anything. if i never hear from you again. NEVER hit the rev limiter on the spray. you will have no motor if you do. lates. dave
