Default Oil cooler option

Looking for some people who may have one of these kits. How did it fit? Saw a dramatic drop in temps? Leaks etc?

http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/p.../OilCoolerKits
Our Oil Cooler Kit with Mocal Thermostatic Sandwich Plate makes it easy to buy all the needed parts for your oil cooler install! All kits include a Long Manufacturing Tru-Cool Oil Cooler, Mocal Thermostatic Sandwich Plate, 10 feet of –10 Aeroquip stainless steel braided hose and all the necessary fittings. The Tru-Cool cooler features an anti-clog design keeping maximum air flowing at all times. The Mocal plate incorporates a 180 degree thermostat to regulate oil flow to the engine.
Seems like a solid deal for 275$ shipped with the 48 row + 20mm thread pitch to fit the s2000.

Ya price definitely seems reasonable, and even Mocal parts. The ad only says the adapter is Mocal and gives no name for who makes the heat exchanger. Not sure id trust a no name core on our oil system.

"Long Mfg. Tru-Cool oil cooler"

I'm not familiar with the name, but they seem to have universally good reviews on their products on Amazon. Looks like they're owned by Dana.

Can't find anything bad about the product on the Internet. Might just pull the trigger and grab one for myself

48 row is QUITE large, do you have the AC removed? It's going to be tough to mount it otherwise. I have a 25 row that's 13x7.5 and that barely fit.

It's a (11" x 11" x 1-1/2") Seems pretty reasonable for size. I know of someone else in the area with a 48 row, not sure if it's the same kit though.

Where are you planning on putting it?

Supercharged + I occasionally track. A 270$ investment goes a long way in longevity whether it just be peace of mind / keeping my temps lower.

Two placement options I was thinking of are 1, under the intake where a CAI would normally go. 2 if it doesn't fit there in front of my heat exchanger,

The nice thing about the supercharger is that I don't have a giant intercooler taking up all that space.
