Default oil filter relocation question

quick question guys. I bought a filter relocation thats almost the same as this picture where you have to remove the original sandwich plate. I was wondering what I can do for the remaining fitting that now doesn't have any connection to anything. also what is the purpose of this fitting for?

original engine with hose going to original sandwich plate.

that is the coolant line for the integrated oil cooler. you can re-route that back to the black line that comes across underneith the pulley in front of the engine, in front of the cam cover!

And if you're running a water cooled turbo, that line pair makes for a good coolant supply to the turbo.
