I have used ford motocraft, Mobile One and K&N filters with out any issues. The filter size on my oil relocation kit is very large.

I found my data from datalogging oil pressure with a few different setups. Anybody who isn't datalogging oil pressure can't say for sure that one is better than the other. I raced all year on Fram and Honda filters with no problems, but once I put the Motec M800 on the car and started logging all that stuff I started seeing that oil pressure was dropping up top. A switch to the K&N filter cured that. I don't know exactly what it is that is different and gave me that result, but it has been consistent and logged accurately so take it for what it's worth.

I've been using Hamp filters ever since I got the S new back in 03 and have continued using them on my turbo setup that I put on the car 4 months after I purchased it. I currently have around 13,500 miles on the car with 10,000 of that turbo'ed with the Hamp filters and I haven't had one problem. I believe they are a very good filter. If I remember right, I purchased a case of 8 or 10 of them back in 03 and it ran me around $70. I can't remember where I got them but I really need to order more soon. I think I only have one left. Does anyone know where you can purchase the 8 or 10 case of them?

I figured this out a few years ago, the K&N and Mobile filters are made in the same factory to the same specs. The only difference is the little hex nut at the end.
