I'm going to install my oil pressure gauge this week and I am trying to get all the mounting hardware together. Is it ok to use a T-fitting mounted where the steel braided line goes out of the VTEC block to the S/C?
No, don't do that. All that extra weight on one fitting will likely cause the block to crack due to vibration. Run a stainless steel braided line from the stock oil pressure sensor location to a 3 or 4 way tee and mount that on the lower chassis rail. From there you can tee as many senders/lines as you want. I'll take a pic of mine to show you.
Hmm... I was thinking about using a T and then an extended hose to mount the sender agains the firewall. Is this not a good idea? I don't think it will add even an ounce more strain on the block.
