Default Oil relocate

Who remembers / has the write up for the parts to relocate the oil filter, where it had the extension along the block at like a 90 defree angle.

It disnt have hoses, just an adapter that moved it out of the way a bit more

See if you can tap the bolt that holds the oil filter adapter to the engine to metric threads.

Here is what I used on a GM 3.8L to run a larger oil filter(changed the thread from M18 X 1.5 to 13/16-16 thread).

I think you can do the same for that oil filter adapter from Summit to make it fit, just change it to the correct thread to fit the S either with a tap or like something I got from RJC racing.

So my understanding of this is that if you want the oil cooler on filter side of adapter you will have to thread the 3/4" to the m20 1.5 thread and make the bolt holding the adapter to the block a m20 as well. Would it be possible just to weld a m20 adapter nipple to the bolt. ( cutoff current thread and weld on the m20 adapter nipple) like this one here

https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/955...#entry21781364

Since the 3/4 is smaller than the m20 bolt I thought it would be easier to to do this rather than modifying threads in an adapter nipple
Not sure if welding anything will effect the strength of the bolt holding adapter to block. Obviously a one piece bolt would be better. Would you guys advise against this or hat would the best way be?

Hope this makes sense what I am trying to explain.
