Some use the restrictor that the turbo comes with and a .032 on top of that.

This is like asking:

What size tires do I get for my Honda?

Uh... we talking a Fit or Ridgeline?

The Precision -4 restrictor fitting that comes on the ball bearing turbos is a .038

Depending on the car, you might need a .032

That fixed my smoking problem.

Hope this could help!

I have the same turbo, I just run a -4an feed line & the -4an fitting. Feed comes off the block from stock oil pressure sensor location.

All the problems I had with smoking stopped when I tapped the oil return to the girdle, I would recommend the same.

You dont need a restrictor with the JB Precision turbo's, just make sure youre using a -3 feed line and at least a -8 return line going to the girdle. Also, it may be best to take the oil feed from the filter relocation block on the engine block, but if youre not using a filter relocation block, you can go from the factory pressure sensor area.
