yeah, honda didnt put them in there just for kicks and for spending the extra R&D time to design them and then all the money and time for creating them. car companies dont do shit pointlessly or for the hell of it for some "tuner" to say, "hey, i lost one of those squirter thingys"... and then plug them off and claim it was an intentional mod that blew minds and shattered land speed records.

At this "debate".

Scary to see so many people think they should be removed though. I've got 4 removed right in front of me right now.....but they are next to the destroyed motor they shoulda been in.

Anyone want to buy some squirters now that you've learned you need em? $20 bucks shipped.

i think it comes down to whether you are driving your car every day/road racing it or drag racing it. some are doing just fine without them...

listen, Honda did the R&D of countless hours on these engines, and they found a need for those squirters to be in there, and not hear-say from internet tuners. its simple as that.

^ Very lucky.

Just because the diff is weak doesn't mean we should risk the pistons or wrist pin failing too. The fact that your setup was mild enough to not need the squirters doesn't mean they should be removed.

You might be able to remove a lug nut from all of your wheels, so are you going to do that?

If you take them out of the factory motor that is still using the factory forged rotating assembly, than yes removing them is dumb, but if you are on aftermarket forged stuff there isn't a problem when removing them IMHO....

We can debate this ALL day, and won't ever get to a conclusive answer on weather or not they will make or break your engine. I like the function of the squirters don't get me wrong and I wouldn't ever remove them, but you guys can't come in here and preach the gospel that its "dumb" to have them removed.... There are thousands of B and F series engines out there with blocked off squirters that run fine......
