Can you just unhook the charge pipe and put a filter on it to drive it to the tuner

I think the turbo would spool to its limit wouldn't it?, I mean I guess if you drive really lightly, I dunno

NO. The risk of overspinning the turbo is too great.

I towed my S from TN to PA with the U-haul trailer. It was like a nine or ten hour drive and I had no problems. Granted that was before I was turbo and so I had stock exhaust but I had no problems with clearance or anything. Just remember to unhook your driveshaft so that you're not spinning the transmission the whole time...that is assuming you put the front wheels in the harness...which you should b/c if not and the front wheels turn when it's on the trailer it's bad news...

Yes flatbed is the best option...unfortunately the truck I was towing with couldn't handle the weight of the car and the flatbed...so had to use the dolly. It was nerve racking...
