A used one is $3500 max. Even so let's call it 6k vs 8k the supra transmission wins. I mean most people here don't really race their cars so you will probably never break the dog box. Ask anybody that races and they will agree with me.
Call Fernando from Kimgs tomorrow. Ask him how many dogboxes he has gone through. How many dog boxes and stock cases the red star team has gone through in their street car. They both now have supra transmissions.
It's a better option period. More street able and holds more.
My opinion is wait for the right deal on v160s to show up. Have the money ready and look everyday. You will find one for less than $3500 in good condition. I bought mine for 2k.
