Hard to judge from the pics, if the axle popped and all the load got sent to the good side that would tweak the diff.
But if the diff moved first it could explain the axle, like you said. I'm not sure if your posi would lock or open when one side is essentially gone. Someone that understands them better can correct me.

Those diff mounts took a beating too, wonder how much if any they were allowing things to move under load. Guessing it's more likely the strain did a number on them after the breakage occurred.

Lol definatley. I did the exact same thing to my axel back in Nov. The sound it made when it let loose was horrid. I was also 400hp+ less then you hahah.

exactly, the weather has been a killer, im spinning through 4th right now, i am getting new tires soon as well, so once it warms up a bit i can really see what this thing can do, I'm taking the drive shaft off tomorrow and see if i can fix the whine with the pinion, I'm gonna get some pics up of the new diff mounts and the finished dump tubes soon, i just gonna finish the hood
