Default Paxton sc blower

Hi guys,

Due to do a full rebuild on my Paxton sc, it's either a 1000 or 1200 it's one of the first so probably a 1000. I bought a full rebuild from 928motorsports, it's the bearings and seals etc.

Does anyone know the torque settings for the bits?

Thanks

They wont answer you. They will recommend you send the blower in immediately. Ask me how I know.

You could set your torque wrench to a low setting and keep upping the torque and testing it until the bolt turns a tad. Then you can back down a few ft.lbs.

I'll likely do that, and see what they are to begin with.

Not the best solution though .

Can anyone give me a brief description on how to open one up please?.

Today with much hassle i managed to remove the blower and mounting plate, i forgot how much of a pain in the arse the last longest bolt is to remove.

Here's the reply i got back from Paxton

Unfortunately we do not authorize anybody to do rebuilds on our units so we do not give out any specifications on the rebuilds.
