can you clock the turbo to make more room?

also, how much should i expect it to cost for the sheild on the manifold itself?

i think it would be the same outcome. i didn't fiddle around with it myself, but my shop would've tried to fit it i'm sure. i believe even LJ and justin at full blown said that the s300 borg warner's will not fit their manifold setup due to clearance of hood.

the shielding for the manifold and the downpipe ran me close to 1k. that was about a year and a half ago for reference, in case inconel has changed in price since then. it's basically slica sandwiched between inconel to create the heat barrier. that was also installed since they're local to me.

I'll do that. In the interim, I'm only wrapping the downpipe (traditional header wrap).

yeah, these motors, especially with turbos run HOT. Touching the outside of my hood can burn your hand after a few hard pulls

will update later tonight with images of the ones that aren't showing up. also updated some bits that were replaced in case I can provide any insight to the various bits i've replaced (ie: trying the different durometers of innovative mounts, exhausts, etc)

Definitely. I had an FBM manifold on my last car as well; the gelcoat on the CF hood actually started to melt!

I lol'd @ using the strut bar as a mount for the mac solenoid. The ATP wrap looks awesome!

possibly, but seems quite far for the lines to have to travel. Still entertaining ideas for mount, but also thinking of the center frame rail around there and having the lines route under the turbo/manifold instead of over it.

on a side note, pesky oil light came on on my gauge cluster. read that that's related to oil pressure? by the time i found that out, i am nowhere near my car to be able to check the reading from my aem pressure sensor. does the stock oil pressure sending sensor fail often, especially with exposed heat? will have to start trouble shooting at the end of this week.
