have you tried the rc9470? I think i can squeeze a slightly taller filter which should yield more cfm, but gets a little difficult to put on unless you take the turbo off with it. the rc9470 might be the tallest one though. going to snoop around to see if they have a 4" height one

No. I bought filters around two years ago but don't remember which ones I bought but I do remember they didn't fit.

fusebox shielding was done by atpwrap as well. he has templates if you need to order them. ask for Mike

how about this filter?
RC-5059

might have a smaller diameter that fits over the turbo, 98mm, but should be close enough?

possibly. This is me guesstimating the extra length i would have which seems to be at least another inch from what i currently have (3.5inch height).

Gotcha. Be nice if it fit. You try lol. If I had time I would make a 4 inch diameter pipe into front bumper and put filter there

lol. i was just thinking of that same idea. i'll go out to my car to see if 1 more inch of height would be okay. That one that you linked above, I don't think fits as that may be the very first filter that I tried. That and it has a hole at the top of the cap.....for what?
