so i ordered

rc-5060 this one prolly wont work but gonna try

ru-2520 this one neeman says works, just pita to get in there...flows the least of all i ordered, but he made serious power, so kinda think i was over thinking the situation.

21-205dk i think this will fit, and flows more then 2520

rf-1015 prolly way to big

ru-5061 also prolly wont big, but gona try. want the biggest one i can smash in there. i will have them wed.

are you wanting to get a filter that can be installed while the turbo is on or off the manifold? comparing the 2520 to the 2510, it looks at though it's an additional 1.5 inches taller (5 compared to 3.5). If that's the case, then I think the 4.5's should have just the right amount of clearance.

Def not removing turbo. I'm going to manhandle it into place. My blower setup had same problem. I hate admitting it but I'm going to smash it in. That's why the chrome top might not work. Won't bend lol

LOL nice. how much is that k&N 2520 supposed to flow, cfm-wise? if it's rated lower than what neeman was putting out, then we may be chasing less of a problem than we expect

Ok so here's the final say. The 2520 def fits. With turbo off and installed with turbo on. I'm not proud of this but I got it on with turbo on. The aem 205dk I think would fit if turbo was installed with it on or I took a saw to the sheet metal by the headlight. If you open up that hole you can def fit a bigger one.

So I have the 2520 on for now. I am keeping the 205 and sending the other three back.

also, be careful of long term use and make sure you use a t-bolt clamp instead of the worm clamp supplied with the k&n. the heat generated in that area with the worm clamp caused my filter neck to tear. It might've been over torqued from me, but just something to watch out for.

funny, i did buy a t bolt for it but there is no room. i did use the worm clamp but just didnt go ape shit tight. the filter cant fall off anyways, not enough room lol. i had to manhandle it. bend it, smush it. i dont reccomend it if you want it to look perfect.

that being the case, i drove the car, part throttle feels fine. havent wot it yet. but if it was good for neeman, i cant imagine it being bad for us.

lol, picturing of a air filter being manhandled to fit. i can't quite picture why the t-bolt wouldn't fit, but the worm clamp would? width of the clamp?
