My 5857 bb was leaking a bit but I didn't check for shaft play since it was going back to them regardless and the turbo itself looked fine. I'm waiting on it to come back. They are upgrading it to a 5858 cea ball bearing and polishing my compressor housing. $550 + $75 for the work. If it blows again I'm going to a gtx3071r .82ar

If you get it tune. I would love to see your dyno chart, just so we can see difference between bb and journal.

Here's my dyno with my mase kit. The turbo spools quicker with the pfab setup. I just don't have a dyno yet. as soon as my car is done i'll go get a dyno done on it

It's not like he manufacturers the flanges, either it was a defective part, or vibration of something contacting the frame has caused it to fail early.

I've honestly never seen that before, I'm sure if you bring this to his attention, he will rectify it.

I've always had great dealings with him.

I'm not sure why either, and I'm not blaming Pang, so far he is very helpful. That flange is 3/8 in. thick steel and it just snap like that I'm a little nervous. Hopefully Pang can find out what causes it to snap and prevent it from happening again.

Motor mounts. Motor mounts are bad and it hit the frame rail. Mine cracked all the way around in the same fashion although not as severe

the flange is not close to anything. the runners are though.

you have to jack up your motor on that side in order to install the manifold. did you do this? did you install the motor mount correctly afterwards?
Crazy talk

I also have a pfab elt kit and the fitment is excellent. From your photos it doesn't seem to be from a defective kit. Most possible like others said it hit the frame or something. You did good to contact Pang to sort this out. His service is excellent
