Looks good, the header rap is a must! ive been cleaning mines up a bit too.. right now i am working on a few things:

Insulated stainless steel heat shield for the turbo and mani, welding up some aluminum bends to re route the intake to the bottom left corner of the bumper for cold air, routing a recurculating valve from the charge pipe to the intake side, fabbin up ss insulated sheet metal under panel (like OEM) a sprayer for the IC and modifying the down pipe to be internal wasgated, externally released..

Bump for photos of the modified diversion plate. Is the plate really necessary to install?

Okay, I would have to agree with several things that NFRS2000NYC had done and I defiantly give him props for the write up. I have done the exact same thing or I am working on it now. Currently I am waiting on a separate Pressure transducer from Greddy that I am adding as well as my wideband hook up. I would strongly recommend a wideband for anyone that buys the kit for two reasons, one the Ultimate will save the wideband values in the data logs and it will also, when enabled in the Emanage, fine tune itself. Another change I personally am making is to tap the pan for the oil return. I do not like that the hose hangs down so low and that it has to be removed to drain the oil. Along with several others I am also going to make an air filter housing most likely out of a 199X Mustang air filter housing.

A few things stood out to me though. First using black wrap will allow large amounts of radiant heat to be absorbed which will negate the reason it is being used. The convective transfer to the other components will be appreciable but the radiant is the big issue. I used their wrap and purchased DEI aluminum tape and went back over some of the problem areas.

As far as the Map goes, a snubber is a piece of equipment used to remove pressure spikes such as acoustical waves to prevent transducer damage or to smooth pressure readings. Now when a BOV is installed and has been adjusted properly the pressure spikes we are interested in will be either removed or their energy reduced. Since the manifold pressure will be below the boost pressure in the intake tube the BOV will open to relieve the pressure reducing the shock on the turbo and engine.

Props to NFRS000NYC for his work

I was wondering the same thing myself having had a turbo car in the past. Seems pointless.
