Try using a different vaccum line. That black box is a vaccum canister (it's all hollow inside) that may have something to do with it. Another reason may be that you have a BOV built for high boost applications, and you are not running very high boost with a Comptech (correct me if you aren't at stock boost). I have the Raptor by Turbonetics (1 step below Godzilla) and I have a little bit higher boost from the Vortech, but mine works just fine. He also shouldn't be getting any compressor surge (it's not a turbo) unless his belt is really loose.

What does it sound like? Godzillas are known for their loudness...

Try running a dedicated line to the bov. If it still whistles it could be an improperly set up bov(too little spring pressure) or a defective unit. Rember, it's supposed to vent at idle and cruising under no-load conditions.

when i start the car it is venting at idle and then when i give it gas the bov does close and vents when the throttle is let off. at low rpms like up to 2->3k theres no much whistling noise, but when it gets to higher rpms it whistles and the air seems to escape really slowly

it is the godzilla bov
Um that is normal. Your BOV works fine.

Is your bov used? Mine does that now because the seal is worn. Tighten the spring.
