Default Catch can to both breather ports on camcase

Guys,

I run a catch can that connects to both breather ports on cam case then vents to atmosphere via a small breather filter on the catch can. I have Blocked off both intake manifold port and port on the intake tract on my ctsc.

I know you don't want boost into crankcase but that won't be an issue now, my friend says I should replace the stock pcv with an elbow to help blowby around the intake tract etc but I Don't think it will make a difference?

The pcv is functioning correctly when blowing into it, I've cleaned it but doesn't rattle much when shaking it.

Would it be beneficial to replace the pcv with an elbow or will it make no difference to blowby etc?

Fyi sc has been rebuilt so no issue.

Thanks.

PCV's do NOT function UNDER boost.

Remove it.

It's a one way check valve. It only functions under vacuum.

You don't need it, run a direct line from your valve cover to a can w/an open element.

Cap the lines on your intake manifold.

Ditch the pcv, your set up will be more efficient and flow more air without it in the way.

I have experimented with several configurations, I still run the PVC becuase I have found the oil to deteriorate from fuel vapor much sooner if I bypass it.
