Pics of my SPARK PLUGS, how do they look?
Hey guys, I pulled my plugs just to see whats going on, I am usually no leaner than 11.0 WOT so I dunno, I figured I would not have any signs of detonation, but there seems to be a tiny amount, could be from SPIKING, U dunno
Anywhay I have the NGK Irdium BKR8EIX
What does all that CARBON build up mean on the base?

joey the black base of the plug indicates you are a little bit rich, so your small signs of detonation on the porcelain are likely from timing as mase has said. We know your not lean.

Get your A/F closer to 11.5-11.8 and pull about a degree of timing out of it all they way through.

How did you pull the plugs to take pics? Because you are supposed to cut the ignition under the desired load and rpm you want. Say you were running rich at the load/rpm you wanted to check and then you let the car idle and it is lean at idle...that will change the way the plugs look and may give you a false reading.

It's pretty insane and launchs like a freaking rocket. Well, it did until I ended up blowing the HG. I was running just a tad too much timing for the 60-1 turbo and that was the result, pushing that turbo too hard. I'll have it back up and running soon hopefully but with a Precision 6262 or AMS 850R turbo and hopefully keep that torque but be closer to 700 whp when I do.
