Default Piping Kit For My Build?

Hey guys, hope you're all doing good It's starting to get hot out there!

I'm still working on piecing together my kit, and although I thought I already had a good plan for my intercooler kit I realized that since this is designed for a different manifold and may not work with mine.

Here is the kit I had in mind (Treadstone): http://www.treadstoneperformance.com...C+2001+to+2009

I was going to buy their TR8 intercooler along with that. However, in the description it mentions that the kit is designed for the "standard cast manifold found all over", which I'm assuming is the log-style type manifold that they use in their FULL turbo kit here: http://www.treadstoneperformance.com...ct.phtml?p=483

Is there any way I could still use this kit with my TrackForged bottom-mount ram horn manifold? My friend suggested that we could just run a long silicone-boot to connect to the inlet, but I wanted to see what people here think.

If that kit is a bad idea, let me know if anyone else has other ideas!

Depending on what intercooler you get that will determine the ICP you should use! I used Ptuning throttle body side pipe and a custom U pipe to connect to my full race intercooler then on the turbo side I used a full race ICP that connects from the inter cooler to my last pipe that I had to have custom made due to my custom manifold! Since you have a manifold already made by a company couldn't you just purchase their ICP kit?!?

According to them (I called their offices) TrackForged only made 3 of these "Ram horn" style manifolds before switching to the front-facing style, so I don't think they have any intercooler piping kits hanging around.

Thanks for the info though! Maybe some pipes from a Doc race ram horn or Full Blown would work.

I would contact them for sure just to make 100% positive they do not before beating yourself up trying to find other options, and any time!
