Default Pistons farked - what now?

Wonderful news hey!

So Ive decided I wanna repair and sell the car. Quite upset cause no penny was spared in parts and tuning. I can only assume the tune wasnt done correctly but they are saying the quality of the fuel is not consistent and bad quality here. Bottom line is Ive had enough now, had constant issues and time to let go.

Ok so please help me now with parts to repair...

The mechanic said the Head is fine so at minimum I need to do pistons and big end bearings(according to mechanic).

He said he advises doing rods as well.

I want to keep stock compression cause if I cant sell the car as a Turbo car I want to be in a position to be able to strip the car and sell as NA and then flog off the Turbo parts. Tempted to drop compression but that would be stupid cause then I cant return to NA.

Ok so what can you gents recommend for parts...

Preferably I dont want to have to resleeve but then what pistons are available that dont require sleeving??I heard of Mahle but the mechanic said these are not forged pistons??

If someone could maybe post the specs of the parts I need that would be great. as Im not that clued up.And direct me to an agent/retailer that can ship internationally.

only pistons i know that will work without resleeve(Mahle Motorsports manufactures forged pistons),i dont know anything about them but i'd like find out how these are myself....but they make all sorts of compresion i myself like to be in the low 10 comp or high 9 compression. plus if your gas is crap there lower compression be better for detnation... sure someone can shed some light here. but there is alot info on here already.

Do rods WHY?

Bid end bearings? Did you spin a bearing? Why bigger bearings?

I don't know of many piston options, why are we avoiding OEM though? I've got a couple good pistons and I think a buddy of mine has a couple good ones too, you could just run those?

Yeah Ive managed to pick up a set of stock pistons and rods that are in good nick. Came off a car that did 20 000km.

Now teh only complication is getting teh correct bearings.I wanna go with OEM but they colour coded and we couldnt make out the colours cause they faded away.

Anybody got some info on which bearings to order?

Ironic username I'm thinking.

I know you're worlds away from the US (as am I) and blown an engine (as did I) but there are two paths to follow; quitting or persevering. I know which one I chose.

Stupid dealership asked me for the colours. Their system for some reason doesnt provide what bearings are required. I got a chart from teh workshop manual so using that.
