Default please help with FI decission

Hey guys Ive already done all the searches and read page after page..... I just wanted to get some fresh advice. I am finally ready to go FI but still cant decide what to do??? My goal is to get the S into the mid to high 12's!!!!!. The car is not my daily drive, but reliability is a big concern (im not looking to create an endless money pit). My block is completely stock. I have narrowed it down to 3 choices 1- Vortech SC 2- Comptech SC (both with 10lb pulley) or 3- Lovefab turbo kit!!Im not sure if the SC options will give her enough to reach the 12's...any advice as to what kind of times I might be able to achieve with the above kits without blowing my motor? i am a newbie when it comes to FI but I know it will be worth it!!!!!!

Current mods include

TODA Header
Alaniz technologies titanium retainers and dual valve springs
Mugen thermostat
Mugen fan switch
Hondata Gasket
Greddy high pressure radiator cap

Act pressure plate and clutch combo
TODA lightweight flywheel
Richmond Gears 4.57 ratio Final Drive

Spugen titanium dual exhaust
stainless resonator to replace OEM catalytic converter

AEM stand alone engine management system (1052U with built in UEGO controller) installed and professionally tunned by South Florida Performance

I also have 650cc injectors in my garage...

It really comes down to what powerband you are looking for. The SC's will be very linear, peaking at redline. This, in my opinion, sucks. Others will dissagree.
I feel that with a properly sized turbo, based on your power goals will transform the "gutless"(even though it was plenty quick down-low stock) F20C into a TORQUE monster.
Since youll be using a proper tuning system(EMS), reliability comes down to the turbo components, and the actual tune thats run in the EMS.
The turbo components on my car have stood up VERY well to the test of time(and abuse, with 4 very hard track days). 15,000 miles later, everything is in good of shape as they were when new.
Installation is VERY easy for a turbo setup, but may scare some of those who havent witnessed a turbo install. The hardest part is the oil pan removal and getting the bung welded on. The rest is very easy to install based on pictures all over this forum(I have an archive building up that I email to customers). Im actually thinking of making a video, probably 1 hour long thatll CLEARLY describe how to do this. It would be sent via Email.

The LoveFab kit is definitely top notch and will do what you want. I personally would lean more to the turbo than SC also.

I will definately disagree with the owner of Lovefab, It really depends on what you want - Are you looking to drag the car, Track the car or just have a fast street car?
I Track my car and want/need predictible power delivery on the road course and Turbo spool can upset the car while accelerating through the corners - The Comptech unit or Vortech for that matter are very consistent (linear) in the acceleration and can be made very fast like turbo's depending how much you want to spend - For the power you are looking for you are riding the ragged edge of what the stock bottom end can handle, I lost my motor with 7 pounds of boost with my comptech unit but, I tracked my car alot and had a ring failure.
I am now pushing 17 pounds of boost with my Comptech Novi 1000 and it is pretty much maxed out. - you will have more room to grow with a turbo when the horsepower bug bites and it will bite but you can only do so much with a stock bottom end.
My car was very reliable with the stock Comptech unit, It was only when I wanted more that I started to run into problems.
If you decide Turbo than I would suggest the lovefab, I just wouldnt say that the Power delivery on a super charger "Sucks" - It works perfect for my needs
400 ponies to the ground really moves this car

Cody does track his car (A LOT)and his powerband is unbelievably smooth and linear for being turbo. I've ridden in his car and you can't even hardly feel when the turbo spools up. There is virtually no lag at all and the powerband is awesome.

Maybe he is doing something right then I have driven turboed cars on several tracks and that is the reason I have a supercharger. I think he has a great product - and that is why I was asking what is the intended use for the vehicle!

I think for road racing a " root type blower " will probably be the best. Wait, until BRP release there "root type blower".

Poor Poor Ztec.

You gotta get a ride in a lovefab car. The power deliv is Flawless. This is the 4 th turbo'd car I have owned and by far is the best. It really is predicatable. BUT you need to get a ride in one and see for yourself so you.....like myself......can be a changed man
