please input on turbo comparison
on my civic i had a sc-61 on a log manifold and a gt40 on a fullrace top mount manifold. overall i like the sc61 because it spooled quicker and didnt need vtec to spool it like the gt40 did. i am looking into which turbo to boost my s2k with but am not sure if i should go with a sc-61 again or go bigger. i was going to get inlinepro sidewinder manifold which is a t4 manifold. so i was looking into the smaller t4 turbo T-T4/60-1, what would the spool be like compared to the gt40? quicker than the gt40? slower than the sc-61? i REALLY like that this turbo has the vband unlike the sc-61. i am going to boost the stock engine at first but will eventually build the bottom end. and input is greatly appreciated, THANKS!!!

i have a car running a gt40, on my tubular manifold - boost takes sooo long to come on, but when it does the car shakes as it sticks you in the trunk. It is stupid fast, but not fun to drive, on the other hand we also did a gt3076 on our manifold, 19lbs - 750 injectors on stock block with 3mil head gasket - 500hp, and full spool was at 3400 rpm, that car was a blast to drive, even had the 2 step setup for launch, no mercy and with drag radials i swore it was pulling front tires off ground (that is what it felt like).

i dont have any particular power goals. i ran c16 in my civic on high boost but think im gonna tune specifically on pump gas for the s2000. i think the t4-61 would be a good medium between the gt35 and the t4-67. think so? this turbo would still be able to push 600+ hp. im probably just gonna out low compression pistons and rods in the block but not sleeve it so i dont know how much boost i can safely tune on pump gas with stock sleeves
