thats good, i think i might go for the t4-67 its rated for 700+ hp rather than th t4-61 which is rated right below 600. that way i wont have to worry about a bigger turbo when my block is built
the turbine has the largest impact on spoolup so assuming the 61 and the 67 use the same wheel and housing the lag will not be too much worse with the 67. Both are large compressors and since they wont really get going until 5500-6000rpm you likely wont even be able to tell much of a difference other than the 67 wheel coming onto its sweet spot a little later.

Jwa- You are mostly correct except for your comparisons on the Garret VS. Precision turbos. In fact, the sc-61 is comparable to the gt35r(Both are 61mm turbos) The SC-67 would be comparable to something like a gt37r(more popular in the evo section) which is a 67mm turbo. The gt30r is smaller, moreso around a 57 or 58mm i believe(correct me if im wrong)
The 67RS turbo from Precision is aka the GT37R. Garret never made a GT37R, its precision turbo which got the nick name GT37R.

i suggest new turbo that forced performance sells hta35r. same lag as gt35r but makes 700whp. gt4094 actually spooled later than the gt4294.

I am completely happy with my sc61 turbo. fully spooled at 4000rpms very nice torque curve and hp numbers. Don't have to worry about messy coolant lines. 12k miles on it and still laying down great numbers.

thats why i want a precision turbo, they cost less and have no coolant lines. how much power are you making and at what psi?
