BUMP

i believe the inline sidewinder kit comes with the t4-61 so i might just stick with that.

check my updated sig, i cant let my old civic Si that had a full-race top mount with gt40 put my S2000 kit to shame

You can reach 500rwhp with a GT30 / SC-61. I think the GT35r and the SC-67 are comparable, and should be good up to ~600-625hp. Anything more, and you would need a GT40-type turbine.

GT30 should spool around 3500-4000RPM. GT35r should spool around 5000-5200RPM. I want to say the GT30 tends to crap out above 18-20psi (run out of their efficiency range). The GT35r I think should be good til 25-30psi, and I think does not really hit its efficiency range until 10psi-ish... Anything higher than 25-30psi = GT40 or larger.

I am not really familiar with Precision turbos... they are just re-worked Garrett turbines, with Precision housings, right?

i plan on just running on stock block until i have the cash the build the block but i dont wanna get a turbo and run it out of its efficiency range. plus the t4-61 comes with a v-band, a plus, and inlines new kit has the t4 flange on it so i would have to get a custom made one from them to run t3. how much more laggy would a t4-61 be then a t3-67?

Jwa- You are mostly correct except for your comparisons on the Garret VS. Precision turbos. In fact, the sc-61 is comparable to the gt35r(Both are 61mm turbos) The SC-67 would be comparable to something like a gt37r(more popular in the evo section) which is a 67mm turbo. The gt30r is smaller, moreso around a 57 or 58mm i believe(correct me if im wrong)

any opinions on the spool on the t4-61 compared to the t3-67?

if they both use the same turbine maybe 300rpm more for the larger compressor.

thats good, i think i might go for the t4-67 its rated for 700+ hp rather than th t4-61 which is rated right below 600. that way i wont have to worry about a bigger turbo when my block is built
