Default PnP Harnesses all the same?

I have a set of RC650's with the PnP Harnesses. I am going to have to upgrade to 1000's for the level of boost I will have. Was wondering if the harnesses are all the same or do I need to stick with a certain brand/style?

Thank you for your response.

I can't really answer your question but you should consider hard wiring them. I have the harness with id1000s and although I'm not having check engine light problems now, I did for a while and Evans Tuning told me it's a common issue with pnp harnesses. After fiddling with them a bit, my CEL disappeared and has been gone for a while. Keeping my fingers crossed!

They are NOT the same. RC injectors iirc, use the obd1 style connectors, while the Bosch injectors use the ev14 connectors. You can de-pin the connectors and swap them to fit the new injectors (making it look stock).

Oh you mean DE-PIN the OEM injectors connection and plug into the other harness(take out the middle man connection)

I guess the question is should I then just get RC injectors in the 1000 series and thus the connection would still be the same or is there a benefit to using a different brand/style?

Don't get me wrong I am VERY capable of hard-wiring just like the ability to go back to stock if needed but won't do so at the risk of reliability.

Yes, de-pin the stock connectors and insert the stock pins into the new connectors (requires a pick tool). Ive heard Rc injectors are harder to idle but haven't had personal experience.

rc1000's suck.. spend the money to get ID and dont use the pnp clips. Every other car with pnp clips has issues and I have to hardwire them anyway.

I change the pin and use the proper connector. I have about 500 oem style pins and tons of stock connectors so if you want to go back to stock its not hard.
