Thumbs up Ported Shroud Compressor Housing

So as I decide between the GT30, or the GT35 I see there is an option for "ported Shroud Compressor Housing", what does that do and so I want that?

Also if I go with the GT35, what A/R do I want? .63 .82, or 1.06?

its a good option. its also known as an anti surge housing. The downside is slight drag on the intake but so minimal you wouldnt notice.

as for the a/r I suggest going for the .63 if you get the 35r and if you go with the the 30r then go for the .82, it will help out with top end.

I would go with the .82 minimum. It will spool 2-300 rpm later than .63 as an average, and the potential for power is definitely better.
