Nice dyno Peter!

Rob, the turbo you have uses a compressor similar to a GT35R matched with a turbine the size of a P trim but with better aerodynamics. The 6262 uses an even better compressor machined from billet aluminum. They flow more air and can sustain higher boost pressures.

dsddcd, compressor maps are very expensive to have made, and most people dont use them. They are nice to have as a tool to pick the proper turbo, but most guys dont need them or use them. If you want info on a turbo ask someone who does a lot of tuning.
Billet wheels don't flow more air and don't make any perceptible change in sustaining higher boost pressures...they're just cheaper to make.

True, but I didnt say the compressor is better because its billet. I said its a better compressor that is billet.

What does billet have to do with anything? All the metal has to be cast at some point, why would it matter it is rought cast and machined or cut from a solid block? It is just marketing at it's best, I rant b/c I was once believed all that crap and paid for it. The important things to ask is what materal it is composed of, what are the acceptible tolerances, how efficiant the design is and how they heat treated it just to name a few. Good luck finding any real information other than Garret you have a hard time finding a compressor map.

I know this is off subject, but I wasnt at all impressed with the Precision compressor housing on my turbo. It has got to be the worst aluminum casting I have ever seen. Do they make these things in their kids sand boxes or what? LOL

This link has good data on the Precision turbos and what they are similar to in terms of Garret. http://www.dynotech.gr/v2/index.php?cat_id=596&lang=en

its closer to a 37r. From what I have read it can almost flow as much as the 40r.

Everyone and there brothers have ran the 35r until about 2 months ago. Now there are many many different turbos being used, at least in the s2k community.

6262 is def closer to a 37R, but the turbine is a little smaller.

The link that Trbokev posted has a lot of errors. Example:
71HPSHP-B 75mm Turbine Wheel (Slightly smaller than GT4088R)

That turbine wheel is quite a bit larger than a 4088. 4088= 77mm inducer, 62.5m exducer. Precision=82mm inducer, 75mm exducer.

I give them credit for trying though!
