If it's recommended that I buy an additional filter can you guys drop some info on them. With the forced performance one can it only be used with -4an lines. Do they inline filters require any additional parts for installation?
0.35 is recommended for BB turbos iirc

I'm not sure; I've never run inline oil fiters on any of my previous feed setups.

Just to follow up on my first post. I told the guy at precision that on my gauge at the turbo I had 90 psi steady from 4k up with a -4 line. I asked do I need a restrictor and exactly how much pressure does the turbo need. I told him I'd make it so it was exactly what they say it needs.

His response was ... well I don't know. They don't need a lot of pressure but they need a large volume.

I said OK so does it need a restrictor?

He repeated the same thing and after 25 minutes of this I got pissed off and hung up and still never got an answer.

I've had a similar conversation with Precision. For the record, I run a BB 6262 with two restrictors, .35 and a .32. With just the .35 I still had smoking issues, after I added the .32 - no more problems.

You should call and ask to get that 25min of your life back. You may have been on the phone with the gentlemen seen below:

On another thread I was told to use a .031 jet from NOOOOSS. Hope this size restrictor won't starve my 6262 BB..

That's what I'm doing, in addition to my regular .35 restrictor. No issues.

My feed is quite short (coming from the vtec oil pressure sensor using a banjo bolt/-3 AN to the turbo; the .065 restrictor is threaded directly into the turbo, then a 1/8--> -3 AN double male fitting is threaded into the restrictor)
