Default Primary / secondary lambda (O2) location?

Looking for the 2 lambda sensors, I can see one near the cat in the horizontal section of the exhaust, but not the other one. I presume the one I can see is the secondary. Also presume the primary is under the manifold shield somewhere?

Once I find it I will decide whether to replace it with the wideband or drilla dn tap a new hole. Not sure I like the idea of either at the moment!

Help appreciated.

The primary O2 sensor is in the header where all 4 pipes come together. I'm not sure the ECU can use the signal from a wideband sensor.

Thankyou,

I guess you can see it once you remove the black metal shield thats bolted above the headers?

My PLX wideband gives a 0-1v simulated output to the ECU, so you can replace the OEM with a wideband and keep the ECU happy!

Prefer to drill and tap the wideband in and keep the OEM, but I know whats going to be easier!

You will get to it better from under the car, don't think you will reach it from the top in the engine bay, its about 6" in front of the cat.

I think you'll be more able to see it from below. It'll be within about 12" from where it joins onto the cat.
