It's not because of the DBW, it's because of the returnless fuel system

 

I have a Comptech, Paxton Novi 1000 and sincerely I wish I had gone wih the Vortech. Because it put out more CFMs and if you wich to upgrade to a smaller pulley it going to be easier with the Vortech, they even offer them. I have to custom make one. Also I already had poblems with the Comptech (Novi 1000 seals). Althougth I have to say the warranty was flawless and got two more years for the replacement unit they sent.

 

whats a paxton 1000 and this CFM you mentioned?

 

paxton is the blower comptech uses

Vortech has 1000 CFM while comptech has 850 CFM

in short it means the vortech is capable of more power

According to Paxton the Novi 1000 is capable of 940CFM...this is the supercharger the Comptech comes with.
And yes you can run smaller pullies with the Comptech unit, as well...
