i'm not doubting that your saving money by using pump gas and methanol. I'm also not doubting the benefits of methanol/water injection. In fact, i fully understand the increase in octane level and decrease in charge temps that a well setup system provides. Thats why I wouldn't say you are running pump gas to make 550whp at 26psi. Here's another nugget of wisdom for ya, what if you didn't fill up the tank, the line came off the injector, the pump failed or whatever occured to prevent the 'octane booster' from flowing on your 'pump gas' tune?
The AEM EMS would pick up that signal and pull timing and boost if that happened. It's a failsafe system with all the bells and whistles for safety if anything like that were to happen. It's a great setup and I may even go with it when my engine gets back from being built and I put the much bigger AMS 850R (it's like a 37R but better) turbo on.

just an update:

ic piping is getting shipped out this week along with my modded compressor housing, (elbow welded on)

all that remains is ems.

today i got the car driving on the street. mounted the boost solenoid in its location and did a battery relocation and picked upa cheap battery for now so i can do some wiring and just start the car. i have a braille in mind for the final battery. i had some trouble getting all the air out of the heater core so i had to jack the front end up and use both bleeders at some points. otherwise a good solid day of work on a car, on my day off, from working on cars.

i will post pics as soon as i get ic piping installed and ready.
