Did you ever try this turbo? If not what did you end up with?

I currently have a PTE 5252 on a log, which is a few steps up inwheel size from the 5431. It still spools relatively fast with a very linear power ban. Its a decent turbo for what it is.

5857 ball bearing only. Journal bearing precisions die due to the f2x super high oil pressure. We even have to run 2 restrictors on the ball bearing ones to decrease how much oil gets to the turbo
I ran a .062 restrictor on my JB and its fine

yours is journal bearing, mine is ball bearing. they use different restrictors.

get a Ptuning kit, they are a bit pricey but the quality is great, i'd get a gt3071r .63ar though. should spool really fast and tubular manifolds are ALWAYS better than log manifolds

I would have bought a ptuning kit instead of my Pfab but the price was alot more, after doing all the relocation I've had to do I would suggest ptuning to people because doing a wire tuck was the biggest pain in the ass ever. but was worth it because it looks good and I know i won't be starting an electrical fire or melting things

Well.. I was looking for something similar in size to a Greddy turbo since I can't find anyone to sell me one. I'm only looking for 300-325 at around 10 psi. I wonder if the 5431 comes with a B housing.
