I highly doubt you can run stock pump, injectors, and map sensor.

I was like you in thinking I needed a low boost map to start off with. I recommend doing everything at once and shooting for around 400whp. That's not the bottom of your goal or the top. You can get used to the power by controlling your right foot. That's what I did.

Try calling them. They'll be more than happy to answer questions and point you in the right direction.
ya i was just wondering, i dont want to skip any steps so if getting that stuf first is a must then ill just do it all. this is why i like to ask first.

Ptuning has my vote too. I am a big fan of their setup for a number of reasons. Just remember to think through all the details and talk it over with them before placing an order.
- open wastegate dump or recirculated?
- open blow-off or recirculated?
- running a cat? keeping the rest of your exhaust system intact? or going custom?
- which engine management will you use?
- which injectors will you use?
- what gauges will you use?
- what boost controller?
- wideband O2?
- map sensor (if going above 11 pounds of boost)?
- GT3076R or GTX3076R?

It's important to plan your build carefully, and talk through it all with Ptuning so they can set it up for you. That'll make the experience very smooth. Also FYI, they've been very responsive to PM's via this site if you want to ask questions but can't call from work.

I bought a Forged kit. I like the design of the forge kit and they're customer service is amazing. Call them and ask for Dave, he'll hook you up and answer any questions you have.

I recommend giving both Shops a call and listen to what each kit has to offer in terms of ease of install, reliability and price. Horses power shouldn't be a deciding factor as both kits uses Equal Length manifold and with similar size turbo and boost it will be very close in power output.

I think both kits share a lot of same characteristics. Forged kit also doesn't require the battery or fuse box to be relocated. It doesn't need a oil filter relocation kit either. This coming March, I would be running this kit for 1 yr; so far, I've not had any major issues. The ones I did run into were all expected, like re-tighten down all of bolts after the initial install, or some minor retuning due to the weather getting cold so I was hitting boost cut.

Within the last year, I've brought my car to different dyno days at different shops. So far the kit has perform very well, putting up numbers between 400 to 450hp at 14psi. I've also taken the car to the drag strip and it runs 12's all day long on street tires (star specs) so I think its a very solid kit like P-Tuning, and either kit will be a great choice as long as you find a good tuner that's experienced in tuning S2000's.

I'm using the ACT HDSS with OEM flywheel. I wouldn't change anything. It's still featherable for smooth starts/shifts and holds the power without breaking a sweat.

I've got the ACT HD as well. I've been boosted 3 times with Ptuning as my last kit. I've had this clutch since 55K miles and I have over 100k miles now and it's still holding.

Get the Ptuing kit and lose the wing, maybe go with the CR wing and the new gt30x turbo. Toan had really done a good job and the R&D. He will also be a good resource if you have problems related to tuning and other issues cause he built the kit from the ground up. That should account for something.

I was in the same position as you s few years ago. Ive been on the forum for the past two years deciding (while I paid off my car) what would be best for me based on what I wanted and what I was willing to put up with. I went back n forth on a lot of kits and power goals (Just asked any of my friends minitoyota, soulcoughing and reborn). After putting everything on a spreadsheet it came down to forged and Ptuning and I picked Ptuning because they had everything I needed.
