Here's a picture of the engine bay as it sits now. Apologies for the shitty low-light iPhone picture. Still need to do a little more work prettying things up, wire looming, and topping off / burping engine coolant.

We were getting spark blow out up top with the OEM spark plugs... which were gapped to around ~0.050" Replaced with the set of 1 step colder NGK Iridiums gapped to 0.032" and problem solved. New Walbro 460LPH pump + ID2000s seem to be doing just fine on E85. Still plenty of headroom for more power once the boost gets turned up!

Initial impressions: Simply amazing. The sound of the spool and the wastegate dump to atmosphere tube are epic, especially with the top down. Engine sounds angry and ready to fight something. BOV is surprisingly quiet at these boost levels (creeping to ~8.5psi). Hoping this will get louder as I approach ~20psi. Anybody have any feeling for this? Vibrations transmitted through the motor mount feel good.. a much more connected driving experience. I am now finding every rattle, buzz, vibration, resonance, and squeak that have emerged.

I cannot commend Ptuning enough for the extremely high quality of this kit, the clearly labeled and organized parts, good instructions, and the initial and continued support. A big thanks to Dan (username: danmartin) who helped immensely throughout this job. We knocked out a clutch job + the complete turbo kit install in essentially a full weekend and a week of nights after work. Thanks also to s2000442, EternalLX, and indi00 for the continuous tech support and inspiration.

More updates and a proper build thread with lots of pictures coming soon.

Just to let you guys know to check your turbo exhaust housing. The turbo vibration had cause the intake tab to break off at the intake filter mount. I ran it for a couple months and then started to notice louder than exhaust noise from the turbo manifold area. Noticed that the turbo compressor housing was wobbly. There was no signs of boost lost. On further inspection, of the 6 bolts holding the compressor to the exhaust side, two were missing and 4 were loose. The compressor wheel and housing were hanging on by a thread. It would of popped of if not for the intake tube securing the housing in place. Noticed that the exhaust fin had scraped the exhaust housing slightly. Hopefully the turbo is not shot. The wheel spins okay by hand with no vibration but don't know what it will do at a higher rpm.

Here are the pictures for reference. 6 M6 1.0 bolts are used to hold the compressor side to the exhaust side. With the weight and vibration, I'm not surprised that it backed out. Was looking at the GT28RS turbo I have, and the bolts and bracket that hold the turbo together is so much beefier.

I have at 10K miles on the kit.

Tial's is aware of this issue with their v-band housing and they have finally released a locking tab that will prevent the bolts on the turbine housing/CHRA from backing off due to the heat expansion of the SS components and also vibration. We will add this part to our site shortly. Please give us a call if you need to order up the locking tabs. I believe you will need a set of 2 for securing the 6 bolts.

We made some changes to the original prototype but you'll like the new setup.
