I have the stage 2 Puddymod diff and it's been holding strong now after 5k abusive miles. Yep. I actually put more stress on it than my stock ones and I haven't had any problems with it. I dumped the clutch so hard a couple times more than my stock and it still holds strong. Even with broken in tires. for Ben.

Why do you guys think the axles are so weak? Don't shock the drivetrain when you launch and you should be fine.

oddly enough i witnessed my first axle failure. This was in the mountains in Trento Italy last week.

It was right after I tuned one of the Italian s2k owners car. We decided to test the new found power on the curvey roads of Trento. It broke mid turn, 2nd gear, granted it was a very sharp, probably 130 degree turn...

Heres the shocking part...... The car is NA and putting down 215 whp.....

Mase

P.S. we've had good luck w/ the puddymod diff.

Puddymod is great for your standard driven s2000 (aka non-drag / abuse car). While it might hold the power, your axles WILL eventually fail and will have to end up spending more.

If the top s2k drag cars use the R200 kit, I know it will hold any abuse I'll dish out to it.

I don't think so. The business is all done by the word of mouth.

I have a fully build puddymod Orange top Diff with a 4.3 in it, and I love it. But my car is SC on 11psi, so it doesn't put down nearly the kind of torque turbo car does though.

Ben does have a thread on S2Ki that describes all the different options/setups.
