mine for reference. Very sure my head would bounce of the bars even in a minor accident.

And don't forget, any bars that can make contact with your head have to be padded with Sfi padding now

that cage does look awesome!!!! someone noted that the safety21 cage is not nhra legal. i have a hard dog bar with double diagonals and bulkhead replacement. does it not being legal mean you cant use it as your cage to run into the 11's or will they not let you run at all because its not approved by them????? i dont drag my car as of yet but that would suck, sorry for thread jack

Joey are you planning on running overhead bars like the aforementioned poster? Or a 'traditional' 6pt like this (which is legal to 9.99/135mph): http://www.thompson-motorsports.com/...ollBar%206.jpg

Traditional 6 points are only legal to 9.99 in roof cars. We are still considered convertables (hardtop or not )and only good to 10.99. After that you need a 10 point to run faster which is why my cage has the overhead bars.

Ya its the evo. Im kinda tall and have a big ass so I had to go with that seat. I was going to get a kirky but I could never find one to sit in and see if I liked them. Jegs sells the SFI foam pretty cheap

Depends on your track. Not having door bars or harness at some tracks will have you sitting in the stands watching. Some tracks could careless if you run 9sec at 150mph in shorts and a Tshirt. Luck of the draw really
