Default question about compression

if i net 330 to 350 hp with a lovefab gt1 kit on stock 11 to 1 compression at 7 psi, what numbers can i expect with 9 to 1 compression at the same boost?

I think most of us would recommend running a thicker head gasket at anything above 7-8 psi...

just a thought...

really only that much? I would have thought it more. 15hp is well worth the longevity the decreased compression will provide.

For every point drop in compression, you will average a loss of around 30 whp at the same psi of boost.
So, if you are making 350 whp on 7 psi with 11:1 compression, you'll drop to around 290 whp on 7 psi with 9:1 compression.
I am going to just be adding headstuds and leaving the compression at 11:1 and running around 10 psi on pump gas. The engine will be just fine there with a good tune.
Remember, 11:1 compression on 10psi is about the same as 9:1 compression on 16 psi and you will net roughly the same peak whp. It's just that doing it on 10 psi and 11:1 compression will yield higher torque down low.
