I've found that the KW kits are fairly quiet for a supercharger system. The Rotrex supercharger has a fairly quiet operation.

So all the sound comes from the cogged belt system and not the rotrex unit it sounds like.

Yes...in my experience. Both of my Rotrex systems are/were very quiet.

Yes...the original KW kit and the TTS kit run a standard multi-rib serpentine belt. (The TTS's is double sided) The only additional noise on the TTS kit (compared to the original KW Kit) is from the Forge Motorsport BOV which is a much better piece than the stock part that is included in the KW kit (old or new).

The TTS kit uses a poly vee belt as per Rotrex instructions. It is very quiet in operation and the supercharger makes vertually no noise, no rattles or whines. Just air movement noise.
