Some progress today... I had to drill 2 holes on each side of the car for the intercooler from the sos turbo kit. I didnt want to drill more holes if I didnt have to so I used them to mount the heat exchanger. It leaves an inch or so gap between the top of the core and the bottom of the support beam. Not as much as I wanted but it should allow a decent amount of air to the radiator, plus it is only 2 inches thick so air should travel through it pretty well. My brand new MF10s with fresh rubber as of this morning ☺ Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk

Do you happen to know the dimensions between the crash support bars where you had the vertical aluminum flanges welded on your heat exchanger? I want to get brackets welded on mine in a similar fashion and would prefer to do so before ripping the front end apart (my s2000 is my dd).

The bov flange has to be welded to the aftercooler. So the powdercoating would have to be striped in that area. . It is about 0.5 to 1.0 inch behind the crash beam. However it is lower than the crash beam. Contact science of speed for the last page of the turbo directions for the intercooler template. . Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk

thanks ;-)

More progress today! I spent most of my time building a bracket to brace the oil cooler lines between the core and the sandwich plate. I also took the remaining water hose and used it to help add protection to the oil cooler lines. More or less protection for everything around the coil cooler lines... The bracket is a bit crude as the zip ties are temporary until I work on it next. Ill add hose clamps to that.
