No, I went to B.I.R. up in Brainerd, MN. But yes, I didn't launch hard or shift fast enough. Im just not good at drag racing for some reason. AutoX im pretty descent at though.

I dont recommend either of them haha. Ive destroyed every major drivetrain piece on the car.

Thank you for the kind words!

I ordered a mocal 200 degree thermostat for the oil cooler. Ive decided to hold off on gauges for a number or reasons. Cost to buy plx products, cost to upgrade kpro3 so i can datalog all engine parameters with one piece of equipment, and the limited space i have available due to an already cramped area under the dash due to other gauges and hondata traction control.

So i will rely on the oil pan to maintain oil pressure, rely on the thermostat sandwich plate to maintain and regulate oil temperature, and rely on the custom radiator to maintain coolant temps.

My car is done at King. Even without the header, it seems I was able to manage 405whp and 259wtrq. With the Js header I managed 412/265 last year. The main difference besides te header was my tuner adding 3/4 degree of ignition timing, which was good for 6whp. So my car is back to what it was.

Awesome numbers. How much reliable power do you suspect you could make with a 3.4 inch pulley?

I am at my safe limit. Im at 14 or 15 psi. I dont want to go any higher with 93 octane.

Deja vu all over again! Congrats on your new setup. It looks very well done. Some days I miss mine... I enjoyed reading through your decision process, having had those same thoughts myself over the years.

So do you think a 3.4" at sea level is unsafe? Should I stick with 3.6"?

What makes it unsafe? You aren't over spinning at 3.4", I have the racing heat exchanger too

How do you like the heat exchanger? pros/cons. Also how is the oil pan?

Congrats on your build.

Not sure if you mentioned it already, but any plans on running another J's header?
