RC injector fitting O ring needed
Hi guys,
I need to replace the injectors as the current ones flow rate it not enough, i have some RC650's to fit but can't remember the score about o rings and cushon rings.
In the pics A is the O ring, and B, the bottom O ring does that sit in the intake manifold/injector hole or do i need a new cushion or use the stock ones?
I think it looks like i need just a small o ring that goes on the very bottom of the injector (top of the metal part)?
Does anyone know if they are generic, as I live in the UK and would like generic o rings just wondering if anyone has actually used them before?

Thanks

Yeah if I remember correctly AJ there is a upper square cushion that fits on the injector first, and then the current large o ring you have shown in B. As long as the o rings you get are fuel compatible, you should be able to source out and buy the sizes you need to make them fit properly in the intake cushion recess and fuel rail. The main objective is you want the injectors to sit at the right height when the fuel rail is attached so there are no leaks and the injectors are positioned strait. Getting the right size and fitting stack of O rings at the base is the key to this.
In the case of ID injectors you use the OEM cushion along with the ID injector cushion and with both used they fit.
On my extra injector left only the top green o-ring is still on it.
